Summary:
Lonestar Forklift, Houston branch, is seeking qualified technicians with 1-3 years' experience, a valid driver's license, and expertise in LPG and diesel engines. As a skilled technician, you'll diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain forklifts and equipment,

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive to customer sites, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing forklifts and other assigned equipment in accordance with established guidelines and procedures while maintaining positive customer relations.
- Conduct routine and special inspections as required.
- Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment according to schedule, established procedures, and cost guidelines at customers' sites.
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
- Maintain Repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Account for all parts, materials, tools, and consumables used as required.
- Drive and work safely in accordance with company and/or customer with company and customer safety rules and procedures always including keeping your work area clean and orderly.
- Developing and maintaining positive, effective working relationships with assigned customers and co-workers.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 1-3 years' experience in troubleshooting and repair of LPG and diesel-powered forklifts and equipment.
- Valid driver's license including clean motor vehicle record.
- Clean background check and ability to pass a drug screen.
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as equipment manuals, schematics, work instructions, etc.
- Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures.
- Industrial electricity courses, welding, PLC, pneumatic or other mechanic courses extremely desirable
- Advanced knowledge of LPG and diesel-powered engines, power train components, brake, fuel, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Must be self-motivated and well organized.
- Experience in a related field, including maintenance of various lift truck manufacturers, automotive, aviation or military, or recent trade school graduates with applied skills is preferred.
