The Opportunity
Lonestar Forklift is currently recruiting for an Industrial Sales and Rentals Representative to join our growing team in Texas. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for overseeing and developing a sales territory, with a focus on driving company revenue. Lonestar Forklift provides market leading product lines such as Hyundai, BYD, Carer, Manitou, TICO, Big Joe, JLG & Genie. We offer extensive training for our new employees, along with a competitive commission structure and benefit package.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop a sales territory, including generating leads, identifying prospects and sales opportunities, and contacting existing and potential customers
- Evaluate customer needs and provide customized solutions, matching equipment to the required application
- Build territory sales plans and execute sales strategies
- Build and form new partnerships with existing and potential customers, establishing yourself and Lonestar Forklift as a trusted partner
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets within an assigned territory
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous B2B sales experience in a related field strongly preferred; proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and building strong customer relationships
- College degree preferred
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with CRM platforms and MS Office Suite
- Understanding of Six Sigma lean processes preferred
- Basic knowledge of finance, such as fair market value leases and dollar option leases
