In-House Evaluator Training – Train the Trainer!
If your operation has many personnel in need of equipment training, individual courses may be an inefficient solution. That’s why Lonestar forklift offers in-house evaluator training or “train the trainer” courses for all types
of equipment. Whether you’re looking for forklift trainer training, boom lift trainer training, or telehandler trainer training. These courses allow one member of your operation to become a certified, in-house evaluator for all other personnel.
Once an operator completes their theory training, the in-house evaluator can deliver the practical component! This eliminates the need to bring a trainer onsite or have operators travel to a training facility. As a result, you’re getting the
same quality training you need in less time.
Additional Information:
- This course does not certify participants as full instructors. Upon completion of either course listed below, participants are certified to deliver practical assessments courses. This means that aspiring operators must complete an operating theory course before the evaluator can fully certify them.
- Our program requires a minimum of 40 hours of prior equipment experience. If you're new, you can start with our operator program, complete your 40 hours of equipment use, and then come back finish the instructor portion.
- In-house evaluators may need to undergo several rounds of equipment-specific training, during which they'll apply their newly acquired skills to assess operators during audits based on their individual skill levels.
Forklift Trainer Training
The theory portion of this forklift trainer training course will be taken online. Once the forklift trainer online theory is completed, participants will have to schedule a practical assessment.
This forklift in-house evaluator training includes:
- Operator qualification.
- Evaluator hands-on coaching:
- How to set-up up a practical training course.
- How to conduct and document a pre-shift inspection.
- How to conduct and document a site hazard test.
- How to conduct and document a hands-on skills assessment.
