In the online component you cover important theoretical topics such as proper starting and parking procedure, how to navigate your equipment safely around a worksite, the different parts of the equipment, and how to perform pre-operational inspections.
This online training component can be completed at any time prior to your in-class practical assessment, and it will only take you approximately 3 hours. The flexibility of courses such as blended online forklift training will help you get certified in no time.
Supervised classroom experience to become an equipment operator is required by law. Because you will have completed the fundamental safety guidelines in your online component, you will only have to come into the branch to complete your practical assessment. This is an extremely manageable way to complete your certification. You will be given time with an experienced instructor to operate the equipment, allowing you to use the skills learned in your online theoretical study.
