OSHA Fall Protection Training Topics

Blended Fall Protection Training (OSHA)

Our blended OSHA fall protection training is split up into two different parts. The online theoretical training and then the optional in-class practical for your certification. The online portion of the OSHA fall protection training can be done at your own pace and from the comfort of your own home. The theoretical portion can be stop, paused, and resumed at any time. Once this is complete, you’ll be able to book a time and come into one of our branches for your practical assessment. Most participants will be able to complete the theory portion of this course in 210 minutes and the practical will take less than an hour.

Online Fall Protection Training (OSHA)

Our online fall protection training (OSHA) is designed to give the participants all the information they need to safely work from high heights. This online OSHA fall protection training course is designed to be flexible and easy to comprehend while ensuring that participants get all the necessary information. We offer our online fall protection training (OSHA) in both English and Spanish. This course will take approximately 210 minutes to complete and can be stopped, paused, and resumed at any time.

Train a Fall Protection Trainer (OSHA)

Have a large staff in need of fall protection certifications? A train the trainer program might be a perfect fit! The goal of the train the trainer program is designed so that you’re able to have a trainer in-house that can train and certify other employees. What is a fall protection system?

A fall protection system is a system designed to protect workers and operators from fall-related injuries. Such a system will usually involve fall and/or travel restraints, fall arrest stops, and proper work procedures.

Is this classroom based training or online training?

The theory for this program is available completely online and is self-paced. While not required, we also offer a documented practical skills check with one of our training professionals as an option. Contact our sales team to book now or for additional information.

Is classroom training better? How can I ensure participants are paying attending to the online training?

We offer a virtual proctoring upgrade service on this and many of our courses. A webcam is required to use this service however it will ensure that your employee is present and actively engaged through the duration of the course. Participants who leave their desk or are focused on other devices or work will be flagged and failed for non-participation regardless of their final exam mark when this option is chosen.

When should I wear fall protection equipment?

Fall protection equipment is required when working at heights of 10 feet or greater. This may vary depending on the work environment as well as the requirements of your state.

What fall protection equipment am I required to wear?

If fall protection equipment is required, you must wear a safety belt or full-body harness and have a lanyard, lifeline, and other connect equipment. The equipment will also need to comply with the accepted standard for the jurisdiction that it is being used in.

How often do I need to have my fall protection equipment inspected?

Fall protection equipment must be inspected at the beginning of each work shift. All fall protection equipment must also be certified by a qualified person with written records of inspections every year. Some equipment may have different inspection time requirements.
