Blended OSHA Overhead Crane Certification

How Does Blended Training Work?

In our blended overhead crane safety program, you'll first complete online coursework at your own pace. Then, we’ll come to your facility for a one-day practical training session. During the practical session, you'll put your new skills to the test under the supervision of our certified instructor.

After completing both the online and practical components of the course, you'll earn your overhead crane certification.

Do I have to complete this training in a set time frame?

You can complete the coursework on your schedule with online learning. This can be especially helpful if you have a busy work or home life. 

Is this course cheaper than an in-class course?

Savings in time equals savings in money! Due to the flexible nature of the blended course program, you can expect significant savings in time spent in the classroom, meaning you'll be able to get back to the job site in a shorter time frame.

Where can I complete the in-class portion of this training?

This training is onsite only. Once your group is finished with the online portion of this training, our instructor comes to your location to complete training and certify qualified students.

Will I be an OSHA-compliant overhead crane operator in Texas?

Upon successful completion of the in-person and exam segment of this training, you will fulfill the OSHA requirements (OSHA 1910.179) to be an overhead crane operator in the state of Texas.

How long does the in-person training take?

2-4 hours, depending on the group size and skill level.

Does Lonestar Forklift supply a crane?

No, the customer must supply the crane. The crane must be functional and pass all safety inspections to be used for training.
