Online Aerial Platform Boom and Scissor Training
The aim of this online Aerial Platform – Boom & Scissor course is to decrease the hazards associated with straight telescopic boom, articulated boom, and scissor lift type portable elevated job platforms by teaching you the principles of safe operation.
Course Duration: Approximately 1.75 hours (105 Minutes).

Aerial Platform Boom and Scissor Training Assessment & Completion
Testing conducted throughout this course is designed to reinforce the material presented. A mark of at least 80% or higher must be obtained in order to receive a certificate of completion. If the participant fails the first attempt, they will be granted 2 additional attempts (3 total attempts). Print and study materials for this course can be accessed online.
Upon the successful completion of this scissor lift and boom lift training course, the participant will be awarded with a certificate of completion. Please Note: a further practical assessment may be required to obtain a full operator license. These requirements are based on jurisdiction and safety regulations. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that they are compliant with all laws and regulations for their jurisdiction.
