Course Topics: Topics covered in this course include, but are not limited to:
• The “OSHA Focus Four” (Falls, Electrocution, Struck-by, Caught-in or Between).
• PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). This outlines the process of choosing proper PPE including hard hats, respirators, gloves, boots, and eye protection.
• Health hazards. This includes hazardous communication, Silica, and other hazards.
• General safety principles for cranes, trenches, scaffolds, and ladders.
Assessment & Completion
Testing throughout this OSHA construction training course is conducted to reinforce the knowledge presented. A score of at least 80% must be obtained to pass the course. A total of 3 attempts are given to achieve a passing score. Printable resources have been made available to supplement the information given. The course manual is also a valuable source of information for retention and future use.
Upon successful completion of this online course, a paper wallet card will be made available.
